Once Mr. Peeks is reassembled, you’re eligible to spawn a unique Lab Technician zombie, which typically appears around round 10 or later. He’s tougher than your average undead, with a scorched lab coat and twitchy movements. Take him down, and he’ll drop a Floppy Disk.

Take this disk to the East Foyer, next to the Stamin-Up machine, and insert it into a rusted-out PC terminal. After a short delay (and likely a mini-horde), a fax machine near the desk will print out a 4-letter codeword. Some examples of possible codewords include:

  • MOTH

  • CRAB

  • WORM

  • YETI

Each letter corresponds to a specific cluster on a chalkboard in the Nursery area.

Step 2: Decoding with the Chalkboard Puzzle 

Head to the Nursery, just past the PHD Flopper machine. On the far wall, you’ll see a large chalkboard filled with scrawled, seemingly random letters grouped into four clusters. Here's how the mechanic works:

Each cluster contains a set number of letters, like:

  • A Cluster: M, A, T, H (→ 4 letters)

  • B Cluster: C, R, A, B, X (→ 5 letters)

  • C Cluster: W, O, R, M, S (→ 5 letters)

  • D Cluster: Y, E, T, I (→ 4 letters)

Using your codeword, count the number of letters in the cluster each letter belongs to. That number becomes one digit of a 4-digit code. For example:

Codeword: WORM

  • W → 5 letters

  • O → 5 letters

  • R → 5 letters

  • M → 4 letters

So, your input code would be: 5554

If a letter appears in more than one cluster, use the one where it fits contextually (look at the scrawled arrows and labels for subtle clues). This is where teamwork helps—have one player defend while others decode.

Step 3: Unlocking Baztura’s Chamber 

Now that you have your 4-digit code, make your way to the Service Tunnel, a moody corridor located between the Mainframe Chamber and Maintenance. Look for a glass containment tube housing a grotesque creature: this is Baztura, your first Doppelghast.

Input your code into the keypad next to the chamber. If successful, the glass will shatter, releasing Baztura in a plume of violet fog and shrieking static.

This boss fight is intense—Baztura can teleport and phase-shift through walls. Take your time, use traps wisely, and when you finally bring him down, he’ll drop a Severed Arm—your key to the next step.
