HYT is a younger watch brand founded within 2012 that continues to interrupt the watch industry as a “specialist in hydraulic mechanical watchmaking”. The brand’s latest HYT H3 continues to move into the actual unknown… As the name indicates, HYT excels at integrating fluids into movements.

With this latest HYT H3, the brand launches the first rectangular watch (62 x 41 mm), a watch that requires some explanation to completely understand its operation.

The HYT H3’s reading method has become thready, with a bellows mechanism (see above) driving the circulation of liquid. The moments are read via a retrograde dial located in the middle correct, while the hours are shown in a 24-hour format on the row of cubes which rotate every six hrs, rotating with the liquid indication above it. The strip of cubes can be aimed manually via a pusher quietly of the case. The 170-hour reserve of power can be read via a good indicator on the back of the situation.
