In this Cheap Dune Awakening Solari part of the guide, we focus on how to find the Green ID Band, use it to breach the forcefield door, and access the central chamber of the wreck.

What Is the Green ID Band?

The Green ID Band is essentially a keycard that allows access to restricted parts of the wreck. Without it, you won’t be able to pass through specific security doors deeper inside the ship.

The band isn't just a progression item; it also signals that you're on track to complete key objectives or loot rare containers. Players farming this wreck regularly need the band to get to the server room, command deck, and engineering bays, where high-tier loot can be found.

Where to Find the Green ID Band

Once you’ve reached the center of the wreck and started exploring walkways and elevated platforms, you’ll need to focus on navigation more than brute force. The Green ID Band is hidden in a chest behind a sealed door, accessible through vertical movement and some platforming.

Detailed Path to the ID Band:

  1. Head toward the center of the shipwreck, where you’ll see large containers stacked with narrow walkways and scaffold-like structures.

  2. Locate the sloping metal ramp that leads up to a higher floor (this ramp may look like collapsed bulkhead flooring).

  3. Ascend and follow the catwalk across — you should pass a partially open doorway into a damaged control room.

  4. Continue past it until you reach a door sealed by a green-lit panel. Use your Cutteray to cut it open.

  5. Inside, you'll find a loot container — this holds the Green ID Band.

📌 Tip: The ID Band is a personal item, so once looted, it’s bound to you for the duration of your run. Dying may reset it, so don’t linger after picking it up.

Using the Green ID Band: Opening the Forcefield Gate

Now that you have the ID Band, return to the large central door on the lower level of the wreck that was previously locked by a green scanner (you may have seen this in your first entry run). With the band in your inventory, the scanner will now accept your presence and open the door.

⚠️ Expect Resistance

Behind this forcefield door, enemies are more numerous — and potentially tougher. Whether NPCs, rogue AI, or other scavenger factions, you'll want to:

  • Reload your weapons

  • Heal up

  • Check your radiation levels

  • Make sure your Cutteray has remaining charge

This area also has high-value loot, meaning PvP encounters become far more likely as players converge. Be cautious.

What Lies Beyond the Forcefield Door?

Beyond the ID-locked gate, you’ll enter:

🔸 Mid-Deck Crew Quarters

A series of tight hallways, partially collapsed, with sleeping pods, lockers, and occasional enemy spawns. This zone is rich in blue containers and scrap tech. Look for lockers and beds with flashing loot symbols.

🔸 The Core Conduit Room

Head down two levels and find the glowing core room — this is a high-radiation zone. Move fast, loot fast. You’ll need an exit plan, as there are no shortcuts back from this chamber.

🔸 Command Deck Access Point

The final door on this deck leads to the Command Deck, which requires either a timed event trigger, another ID Band (Blue or Red), or a server override. In some servers, this access rotates daily.

📌 You may not have access to this section yet — we'll cover this in Part 3.

Loot Overview (Post-ID Access)

Loot quality improves after entering the ID-restricted areas. Here's what to expect:

Loot Type Common Locations Notes
Blue Material Crates Crew Quarters, Control Panels Can contain crafting components
Rare Data Chips Conduit Room Lockers Used for tech tree progression
Energy Weapons Weapon Lockers, Armories Sometimes found in sealed containers
Armor Pieces Locker Rooms, Near Showers Rare armor can drop here

PvP: Now It Gets Serious

Once you've entered the inner wreck, be aware that many players camp the forcefield area or bait players near the ID Band location. Here are a few PvP survival strategies:

  • Sound matters: Crouch to reduce footsteps.

  • Always assume someone is watching: Don't stay still for too long.

  • Close doors behind you: Gives you warning if someone enters.

  • Watch for traps: Explosives and proximity sensors are common.

Tip: Bring a smoke grenade or EMP if you’re in a group — it can help in ambush situations.

What Happens If You Die After Getting the ID Band?

Unfortunately, if you die before using the Dune Awakening Solari for Sale Green ID Band, you'll lose it and need to retrieve it again. However, if you've already opened the forcefield door, you may be able to run back and recover your gear (if it wasn’t looted by another player).

Respawning nearby helps, but only if you're quick — and depending on server rules, Right of Salvage allows players to loot your body immediately.
