How It Works

    Complete the intro quest "A Study in Discipline" in Reaper’s March, Bangkorai, or The Rift to unlock it per character.

    You must have level 50 characters to access their class skill lines.

    Once logged into a level 50 character of a certain class, their skill lines are unlocked account-wide.

    Replace one of your original class's skill lines with one from another class.

    Both active skills and passives from the replaced line are swapped out.

System Highlights

    You still must keep one original class skill line, preserving class identity.

    Skills from other classes must be leveled and morphed (2 skill points for base, 2 for morph).

    Progress is account-bound, meaning skills leveled on one character apply to all.

    Quest must be done per character, but skill leveling carries over.

Gameplay Impact

    Expect a grind: XP + skill points needed to max skills and morphs.

    Templar’s Puncturing Sweeps, Nightblade’s Assassination, and Necro’s Gravelord are top-tier picks due to:

        High impact actives

        Dense passives

        Good synergy across builds

    Dragonknight has some awkwardness: it relies heavily on all three skill lines for full potential, so swapping one weakens it.

Meta Commentary

    Meta-shift incoming — a few skill lines will become dominant for PvE/PvP/tanking/healing.

    Could result in further homogenization: many builds using the same few optimized combos.

    For casual and midcore players, it adds fun and build variety without punishing complexity.

    For top-end PvPers or min-maxers, it may be a balancing concern (especially burst or sustain).

Final Thoughts

    It’s free, flexible, and fun if you like experimenting.

    Strong synergy builds are already emerging on PTS.

    It might not please everyone (especially DK mains), but it opens up hybrid theorycrafting in a whole new way.
