Monopoly GO’s collaboration with Star Wars brings an all-new Partner Event, where you team up with four different partners to build themed attractions inspired by the Star Wars saga. The grand prize for completing all four partner builds is the Luke and Yoda token, a special collectible featuring a stylized version of Luke Skywalker with Yoda peeking from his backpack. The Star Wars Partners Event follows the same rules and mechanics as a standard partner event, but considering how valuable the rewards are, it’s more important than ever to have a solid playing strategy.

Choose Partners Wisely

The most important thing when it comes to Partner Events in Monopoly GO is finding some solid teammates. When you're looking to team up for these Partner Events, there are generally two ways you can go about it. First, you can invite your real-life friends to Monopoly GO and partner up with them. Playing with friends you know in real life can make communication smoother.

If that’s not possible, you can always find active and reliable players through the official Monopoly GO communities on Facebook, Reddit or Discord. Avoid partnering up with random people. Make sure you check their Tycoon Profiles before accepting their request to see how active they are.

You can also make a post in Monopoly GO groups and ask for a player’s dice count and/or event tokens. This way, you can make sure the person you’re choosing is reliable and able to pull their weight.

If you don’t have a large dice pool and have trouble finding a partner, focus on collecting 3500-4500 event tokens. Then, look for a partner who has a similar amount of tokens and explicitly wants to complete a build quickly. The goal is to finish a float within 5-10 minutes, and then repeat the process for the other floats.

Focus On One Partner Build At A Time

Instead of rushing to fill all partner spots on the first day, it's more effective to focus on one partner and their float until it's fully completed. If you focus on one partner and their float, and they contribute their part, you could earn back between 1,100 to 1,500 Monopoly GO dice rolls to use on the next build.

Concentrating on one build at a time can feel less overwhelming than juggling four at once. Plus, by pooling your event tokens into one build, you're more likely to reach higher milestone rewards faster. These rewards include blue sticker packs, which can help you complete sticker sets, earn even more dice and other rewards, or can be used for trading. After completing one build, you can then find another active partner for the next one.

Play Top And Side Events Smartly

The main event and the side tournaments running alongside are two different opportunities to win rewards, including the much-needed event tokens. Before you start playing these tournaments, it’s smart to do a little homework. You can easily find the list of milestone rewards for both once they go live. This helps you see exactly what you'll get for hitting certain point levels.

The strategy here is to play these events smartly. For example, if you hit a milestone that requires you to spend 1,500 points just to earn 400 dice – it’s not worth playing. Once the rewards become that small for the effort, it’s better to stop and wait for the event to reset. This way, you can save your dice for the next event.

If you have a shot at ranking high in a side tournament (like reaching the top 5), definitely try to take advantage of that. Ranking well can give you bonus rewards like extra dice and partner event tokens, which are super valuable.

Collect Tokens Proactively

While participating in solo events and tournaments and hitting milestones is the best way to collect event tokens for Partner Events, there are other ways to get them. Completing your three daily Quick Wins in Monopoly GO tasks can reward you with a bunch of event tokens in addition to other prizes like cash and dice rolls. These are simple objectives that refresh every day. Besides this, make sure to claim your free gift from the shop every eight hours.

During Partner Events, you’ll also find special pickup tiles for the event tokens. The number of tokens you receive from these tiles is multiplied by your current dice multiplier in Monopoly GO, so using a higher multiplier when you're likely to land on these can be a great strategy. For instance, if you’re rolling with a x50 multiplier, you’ll get 50 tokens if you land on these pickup tiles.

Save Up Tokens for Higher Multipliers

The Partners Wheel comes with its own token multiplier that works much like the dice multiplier. Instead of constantly taking small spins (using just 1x multiplier), you strategically save up a larger pool of event tokens. Then, when you do spin, you can opt for higher multipliers (like 5x).

Each spin on the Partner Wheel contributes points towards the milestones of your current partner builds. By using a higher multiplier, the points you earn from a single spin are multiplied accordingly. This way, you can jump through the milestone rewards much faster. However, multipliers will use more tokens, so be mindful of your total token count. You don't want to be left with only a handful of tokens and no chance to contribute further.

Take Advantage Of Flash Events

Flash Events are quick boosters that are scheduled throughout the day and even available as milestone rewards in the Partners Event itself. Think of them as surprise bonuses or limited-time offers that you need to take advantage of quickly while they're active. The real power of these boosters comes from using them strategically and combining them with other ongoing events.

For example, the 30-minute Mega Heist from completing Partner Level 4 is a great opportunity. Don't just let it run passively. Instead, time it properly and use it in your favor at the start of a new side tournament to get double points from regular Bank Heists in Monopoly GO. There are a bunch of flash events planned for the day, so make sure to check the event schedule beforehand to plan out your playing strategy.

Wait Until The Last Day To Finish

While most players would rush to complete their parter builds as soon as they can, it’s actually better to wait until the last day to finish. The Star Wars Partner Event is a five-day event. There’s no need to rush through it, and you can use your time to collect as many rewards (like the 8-hour Shop gifts, daily Quick Wins, and daily login bonuses). These small rewards add up and help you progress steadily without burning through your dice.

As mentioned above, a good strategy is to break the partner event into daily goals, like completing one partner build per day. This way, you’ll finish everything comfortably before the event ends.

Moreover, the partner event ends on a Sunday, which is also the day you receive your Purple Sticker pack from the Quick Wins bar. If you complete the event too early and receive a Wild Sticker, you might use it on a 5-star gold sticker you're missing—only to open your purple pack later and find that exact same sticker inside. As such, wait to finish the event until after you’ve opened your Sunday purple pack. This way, you have the chance to use the Wild on different Monopoly GO Stickers.
